Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Bhuk (“Bhuk”, “we”) collects and uses personal data when you use Bhuk. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. What we collect

• Quiz answers (hunger, craving, goal, diet, budget, state, city, and optional height and weight). These are saved only in your browser on your device so you don't have to answer again. We do not receive them on our servers.
• Messages and reviews you send through the Help or Reviews forms: your name, phone or email, and your message.
• Payment details when you buy a plan: your name, email, phone and payment status. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay and never stored by us.
• Usage data such as pages visited, device type and approximate location, collected through analytics tools to improve Bhuk.

2. How we use it

• To show dish suggestions and build order links.
• To activate and manage your plan, send receipts and provide support.
• To reply to your questions, complaints and feedback.
• To understand usage and improve Bhuk.

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Sharing

We share data only with service providers who help run Bhuk, such as Razorpay (payments), our hosting provider and analytics tools, and only as needed for those purposes, or when required by law.

4. Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies for analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings; Bhuk will still work.

5. Retention

We keep support messages and payment records only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (for example, tax records). Data saved on your device stays until you clear it or change your answers.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, or raise a grievance by contacting our Grievance Officer below. We will respond within 30 days.
